Datalogic QD2220 Handheld Laser 1D Barcode Reader QD2220-BKK1S

The QuickScan 2200 Series 1D barcode scanner is an affordable, reliable solution for retail POS checkout operations. It reads all types of 1D barcodes, including hard-to-read, poorly printed, damaged, or low-contrast ones. It features an intuitive and precise aiming system and is designed to be lightweight, well-balanced, and rugged, with a long-life trigger. The scanner also offers easy configuration and connectivity to any customer host.

Take advantage of optimal reading performance
Linear long barcodes are commonly used in a variety of retail POS checkout applications. These long barcodes are challenging for full area imagers to read due to their narrow field of view and shorter depth of field. With its extra-wide field of view, extended reading range and prodigious depth of field, the QuickScan 2200 reliably reads any type of 1D barcode from near to far with ease, increasing operational flexibility. It also improves operator efficiency and productivity by decoding hard-to-read, poorly printed, damaged, or low-contrast barcodes, while reducing no-read/misread management activities.

Sharply defined and intuitive “laser-like” aiming system
Unlike other devices on the market, it gives the operator complete control, from linear aiming with a sharp and highly visible scan line to the most immediate visual, audible, and tactile good-read feedback. It features Datalogic’s distinctive “Green Spot” technology, which projects the visual good-read feedback directly onto the code, making it ideal for low light, noisy environments, regular and unusual reading positions. It reads seamlessly through Plexiglas barriers and can scan electronic coupons from smartphone screens. A sense of extreme precision is conveyed. This gives the operator maximum confidence in targeting the correct code, resulting in improved operator efficiency and productivity, with fewer accidental reads in a multi-barcode and noisy environment in any lighting condition, especially during peak hours.

Get superior ruggedness for superior endurance
The trigger is the most stressed mechanical part of a handheld scanner during daily POS checkout operations. The QuickScan 2200 has an inherently robust trigger. Three million hits are guaranteed against failure and downtime, minimizing TCO for customers. Special attention has been paid to ruggedness through design and quality of parts that exceed all other products in its class. Finally, the QuickScan 2200 offers future-proof connectivity to any customer host, including the latest USB-C standards.
